1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Personal information you disclose to us:

When you sign up to create an account (“Account”), we may collect certain information (“Registration Information”) about you, such as:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Organization name
  • Email
  • Organization website
  • Phone number.

Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information that we collect helps us to provide our services on the Platform.

ExamPilot is not responsible for the correctness of Talents’ data uploaded into the Platform by users. For further information please refer to Data Processing Policy.


2. COOKIES

By using the Platform, you are consenting to our use of cookies and other tracking technology in accordance with this notice. If you do not agree to our use of cookies and other tracking technology in this way, you should set your browser settings accordingly or not use the Service. If you disable the cookies that we use, this may impact your user experience with ExamPilot.

Data gathered will not identify you personally. It is strictly aggregate statistical data about our users and how they used our resources. No identifying personal information will be shared at any time via cookies.

Close to the above, data gathering can be about general online use through a cookie file. When used, cookies are automatically placed in your hard drive where information transferred to your computer can be found. These cookies are designed to help us correct and improve our services or products for you.

You may elect to decline all cookies via your computer. Every computer has the ability to decline file downloads like cookies. Your browser has an option to enable the declining of cookies. We are not responsible, nor do we have control of the cookies downloaded from advertisements. They are downloaded only if you click on the advertisement.

Primarily, we collect and store data about you to help us provide better service and products to you.

ExamPilot has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures by using the latest technologies to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing. We keep on improving our safeguards to help keep the information collected through the Platform secure and take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to the Platform or to your account. In addition, we use state-of-art encryption technologies. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your unique password and account information, and for controlling access to emails between you and us, at all times. We are not responsible for the functionality, privacy, or security measures of any other organization.


6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

The European Economic Area is large, but we may have to transfer data outside of this area. If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area it will be for storing and processing. A processing staff operating outside this area may belong to our product or service or a supplier, in which they can process or store your information. An example: to process and complete your sale or offer support services we may have to go outside the European Economic Area for the transfer. When you click submit of your personal information or other electronic communication you agree to the transfer for storage and processing.

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for the legal basis relied upon and as permitted by applicable law.

You may permanently delete your user account at any time.

When your account is deactivated, we take reasonable efforts to make sure it is no longer viewable and accessible through the platform. We will delete your personal information from our systems, unless:

  1. We must keep it to evidence our compliance with applicable law;
  2. There is an outstanding issue, claim or dispute requiring us to keep the relevant information until it is resolved;
  3. The information must be kept for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing Users’ safety and security.

You are entitled to request the following from the Company, these are called your Data Subject Rights:

  • Right of access –to request access to your personal information and information about how we process it.
  • Right to rectification –to have your personal information corrected if it is inaccurate and to have incomplete personal information completed.
  • Right to erasure (also known as the Right to be Forgotten) – to have your personal information erased.
  • Right to restriction of processing – to restrict processing of your personal information.
  • Right to data portability - to electronically move, copy or transfer your personal information in a standard form.
  • Right to object - to object to processing of your personal information.
  • Rights with regards to automated individual decision making, including profiling – rights relating to automated decision making, including profiling.

Links on the Service that belong to third parties may be found. These websites and applications have their Privacy Policy, which you agree to when you link to the site. Your browsing and interaction on any third-party application, website, or service, including those with a link on our Platforms, are subject to that third party’s rules and policies. We do not accept claims of liability or responsibility in any way for these policies or links, as we have no way to control the third-party sites. If you are using a third- party app, website, or service and you allow them to access your account you do so at your own risk.


10. CHILDREN

Our Platform does not seek to address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. We conduct our verification tests with the aim of also establishing we are not dealing with children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your children have provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under age 18 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.


11. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS POLICY?

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
